Highlights

1. Analysis of 400+ Gas Species

A comprehensive gas model library supports the analysis of more than 400 gases, including combustible gases, organic and inorganic compounds, greenhouse gases, NOx, O₂, O₃, H₂, HCl, HF, SO₂, SO₃, NH₃, PF₅, PH₃ and other components.

2. High Accuracy and Excellent Repeatability

With an accuracy of ±2% and repeatability of RSD <0.1%, the analyzer provides stable and reproducible measurements for demanding multi-component gas analysis.

3. Broad Spectral Detection Range

The detector covers a spectral range of 4500–800 cm⁻¹, providing access to characteristic infrared absorption features of a broad range of gas molecules.

4. Long-Path Gas Cell

A gas-cell optical path length of more than 5 meters increases the effective absorption path and enhances the detection capability for infrared-active gas components.

5. Automatic Optical Path Cleaning

The analyzer features a fully automatic optical-path circulation cleaning system. No zero gas or nitrogen purging is required for cleaning, helping maintain a dry, clean and stable optical system.

6. Continuous Online Measurement

Based on a single-optical-path direct-reading principle, the system requires no zero-gas calibration or zero-gas purging, making it suitable for long-duration online measurements.

7. Stable Infrared Light Source

The integrated infrared source delivers strong and stable performance while minimizing the need for frequent light-source replacement.

8. Digital MCT Detector Without Liquid Nitrogen

A digital mercury cadmium telluride (MCT) detector provides infrared detection without liquid-nitrogen consumption, simplifying routine operation and maintenance.

9. Advanced 2D Spectral Fitting

Real-time spectra are processed through pure-spectrum extraction and two-dimensional fitting against standard models. Quantitative analysis can therefore be performed without establishing conventional calibration curves.

Method

Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy for Multi-Component Gas Analysis

The analyzer uses FTIR direct-reading spectroscopy to identify and quantify multiple gaseous components.

The sample gas is introduced into the heated gas cell through the sampling system. Infrared radiation passes through the gas sample, where individual molecules absorb radiation at characteristic spectral regions.

The detector records the resulting infrared spectrum across the measurement range. Dedicated gas analysis software then processes the spectrum and extracts the spectral information associated with individual components.

For complex gas mixtures, overlapping spectral signals can be separated and independently extracted. The measured spectrum is subsequently analyzed against standard reference models using two-dimensional spectral fitting.

The software supports mathematical calibration models and nonlinear least-squares analysis rather than CLS or PLS methods. Gas concentrations can be displayed continuously, allowing users to observe changes in all measured components on the same time axis.

Typical Measurement Workflow

Gas Sampling → Heated Sample Transfer → FTIR Gas Cell → Infrared Spectral Acquisition → Spectral Separation & Model Fitting → Multi-Component Concentration Results

The heated sampling probe and heated transfer line help reduce condensation during sample transport, while the analysis software performs spectral processing and real-time concentration calculation.
