Highlights

The control unit utilizes a computer, high-precision boards, and modular control. Signal collection and processing employ a 16-bit high-precision board, achieving an accuracy level of one percent, with stable performance and good repeatability.

The instrument boasts high accuracy, precision, stability, and reliability.

The instrument has a long service life and low operating costs.

The instrument is equipped with appropriate auxiliary equipment and consumables to ensure its normal operation.

Computer control interface: Employing high-end equipment and professionally developed software (LabVIEW), the interface is rigorous, highly automated, and all complex procedures and calculations are integrated into the computer, resulting in extremely fast response speed, convenient operation, and a user-friendly interface.

Operating software: Windows XP operating interface, LabVIEW style, with robust security mechanisms.

Control System / Software

Computer Control Interface: Utilizes high-end equipment and professionally developed software (LabVIEW), featuring a rigorous interface, high degree of automation, and integrated handling of all complex procedures and calculations. It boasts extremely fast response speed, convenient operation, a user-friendly interface, and intuitive, almost foolproof operation.

Operating Software: Windows operating interface, LabVIEW style, with robust security mechanisms.

Method

Chamber Pre-heating: The chamber and radiant panel are heated until the black-body temperature stabilizes.

Loading: The specimen is slid into the chamber and pre-heated for a specified duration (typically 2 minutes) with the pilot burner in the “off” position.

Ignition: The stainless steel pilot burner is moved into position to ignite the specimen at the high-flux end.

Observation: The test continues for 30 minutes (or until flame-out). Technicians record:

Flame Spread Distance: The maximum distance the flame travels along the specimen.

Time to Ignition: The duration until sustained flaming is observed.

Smoke Evolution: Continuous monitoring of smoke density via the DIN 50055 optical system.
