Highlights
1. Designed for Aviation Material Flammability Testing
Specifically designed for airworthiness certification and performance testing of non-metallic materials used in civil aircraft cabins.
2. Multiple Combustion Test Configurations
Supports adjustable combustion angles of horizontal, vertical, 45°, and 60°, accommodating combustion test methods at these angles, enabling a single system to meet the requirements of various test configurations.
3. 0.5 m³ Combustion Chamber
Equipped with a combustion chamber with a volume of ≥0.5 m³, providing ample internal space for specimen installation, burner positioning, and test observation.
4. Viewable Tempered Glass Observation Window
A large, sealable tempered glass observation window is located at the front of the combustion chamber, allowing operators to clearly observe the ignition and combustion behavior of the specimens during the test.
5. High-Precision Gas Pressure Regulation
A high-precision pressure regulating valve is used to adjust the gas pressure required for standardized combustion testing.
6. Integrated Exhaust System
A powerful exhaust and smoke extraction system is installed at the top of the test chamber to remove combustion gases after the test is complete.
7. Temperature Calibration System
This tester is equipped with a temperature calibration device compliant with the ASTM D5207 standard, featuring a Type K thermocouple and an intelligent PID temperature display.
Method
The ZY6122A supports flammability testing of civil aircraft cabin non-metallic materials in accordance with FAR 25.853 Appendix F, CCAR-25-R4.853 Appendix F and HB5469-2014.
Supported test configurations include:
Vertical Burning Test
Horizontal Burning Test
45° Burning Test
60° Burning Test
The system features dedicated specimen holders, adjustable burner angles and flame height, motor-driven specimen positioning, and flame measurement devices to meet different test configurations.
A 50 W Bunsen burner is used for flame application, with temperature calibration supported by the built-in thermocouple system and ASTM D5207-compliant calibration device.
